B&B at Vanilla Tree House is our peaceful Bed and
Breakfast or Self-cater accommodation in Penticton,
British Columbia. Look down on the Okanagan Valley and Okanagan Lake, the
City of Penticton and the town of Summerland and have your breath taken away. Our
hillside home was architecturally designed to access the spectacular
view of Lake Okanagan and is a peaceful 1 acre rural
retreat 10 minutes from Penticton. The natural Pine and Fir forest has been
preserved. We
are an eco-friendly property and a Certified Backyard
Habitat (Canadian
Wildlife Federation certification). Geothermal heating & cooling, towel
& linen program, recycling, composting, water conservation,
xeriscaping... Our
single well appointed guest suite of 1100 sq ft is yours to enjoy as
your private retreat or to share with your friends. The King bedroom is reserved for your
2 person stay and has a private bath. When travelling with friends or family,
the Queen room is also yours & you share the bath. Each bedroom is professionally
decorated and has an outside entry. Fine linens, cosy duvets,
comfy pillows, robes, clothes iron, hairdryers and luggage racks are provided
for your comfort. A 3rd bed is available. Prepare
to feel at home in the guest-only lounge featuring a kitchenette (new for 2009), satellite TV & DVD/VCR
player, book and movie library and games. Other facility amenities include a
dedicated exercise room, air conditioning, electric fireplace, outdoor
e-grill & sink (May thru Sept) and lake facing decks for lounging
in the sun or under the stars. Bring your laptop to access our wireless high
speed Internet or use the guest computer. Award winning wineries and the Trans Canada
Trail/KVR are but 5 minutes away. Penticton and Naramata are close for a special
dinner and Apex Mountain
Resort is a pleasant 40 minute drive. Come and let the peace
